Adecco Staffing is working with a manufacturing company in Contoocook, NH to bring on a Welder. This position is full time in a fast-paced sheet metal manufacturing environment.

Position: Welder
Shift: Monday through Friday (day shift)
Pay: $25.00–$29.00 per hour, depending on experience

Duties / Responsibilities
• Perform TIG, MIG, and spot welding on a variety of materials including carbon steel, aluminum, and stainless steel
• Weld materials with thicknesses ranging from .050” to .250”
• Read and interpret blueprints to assemble and fabricate weldments
• Grind welds per print and quality requirements
• Set up and adjust welding equipment for various materials and thicknesses
• Perform daily inspections of welding equipment
• Conduct basic cleaning and maintenance on welders and water coolers
• Inspect own parts prior to first piece inspection
• Handle parts carefully to avoid damage to finishes
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Follow all safety procedures to prevent injury or damage
• Support additional shop duties as assigned

Qualifications
• High School Diploma or GED required
• 2–3 years of welding experience in a manufacturing environment
• Experience welding carbon steel, aluminum, and stainless steel
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Ability to independently fabricate weldments with minimal supervision
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Basic math skills
• Flexibility to adjust to changing daily tasks

Physical Requirements / Work Environment
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs throughout the workday
• Ability to bend, kneel, and crouch as needed
• Ability to use hands and fingers to operate tools and equipment
• Manufacturing environment with varying temperatures
• Exposure to loud noise, moving mechanical parts, fumes, airborne particles, and welding hazards

Pay Details: $25.00 to $29.00 per hour
